Robust Hardware Infrastructure
At the foundation of our validator operations are a combination of high-performance, dedicated bare-metal and cloud servers strategically deployed in Tier IV data centers around the world. Most notably in South Africa and Germany.
These servers are meticulously configured with enterprise-grade CPUs, RAM, and storage to handle the resource-intensive requirements of validator workloads. Redundant power, cooling, and networking systems ensure our infrastructure maintains industry-leading uptime and reliability.
Specialized Blockchain Software
For each PoS blockchain network we support, our validators run the official client software, tailored and optimized for stable, high-performance operations. We also leverage container orchestration platforms like Docker, Kubernetes and AWS Elastic Container Service to seamlessly deploy, scale, and manage our validator nodes across multiple data centers.
Comprehensive Monitoring and Alerting
Visibility into the health and performance of our validator nodes is critical. We've implemented robust monitoring and alerting solutions, including Rated for Validator Performance Monitoring, Prometheus for metrics collection and Grafana for real-time dashboards. Our monitoring stack tracks key node metrics and triggers alerts to our on-call team for rapid incident response.
Ironclad Security Measures
Security is of utmost priority when operating mission-critical validator infrastructure. We utilize hardware security modules (HSMs) to securely store validator private keys, and maintain strict access controls and audit logging. Network-level security, such as firewalls, DDoS protection, and encrypted communications, further reinforces the integrity of our setup.
Redundancy and Failover
To ensure continuous uptime, our validator nodes are deployed in a redundant configuration with automated failover mechanisms where possible. If an issue is detected with a primary node, traffic is seamlessly routed to a standby node, minimizing any disruption to the blockchain network.
